We offer Annapurna Base Camp trek with a magical and wonderful view of Mt. Annapurna (8091m). Annapurna mountain is the 10th highest peak in the world. The Annapurna region lies in foothill of Mt. Annapurna in the North-central Nepal, stretching along with Lamjung Himal from the Kali Gandaki in the west to the Marshyangdi in the east. Annapurna Base Camp trek passes through waterfalls, villages, farmlands, rhododendron forests, and vistas enthusiasts every trekker’s soul. Annapurna Base Camp trek begins from a mere height of nearly 800metres and the acclimatization process gradually ascends and reaches to the high altitude of over 4,000 meters. Trekkers will also pass through a diverse geographical and cultural variation with miraculous ranges of flora and fauna in between.

The Annapurna Base Camp trek offers you a magnificent view of the Annapurna range and a mixed culture of Gurung and Magars. You will be passing through beautiful villages, forests and hot springs. At Ghandruk, you enjoy the ethnic hospitality along with the cultural magnificence of Gurung Museum. Trekking further via Machhapuchhre Base Camp, you will finally reach Annapurna Base Camp. From your final destination, you return the same route passing through the beautiful Rhododendron forest that bloom with red flowers during the springtime, descend down to Birethanti, passing by waterfalls and few small villages and settlements. Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day, reception and transfer to hotel, welcome dinner and overnight at hotel

We will greet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel. You have time to settle in and fresh up after a long fight. When you arrived at noon you will have a time to enjoy the tourist atmosphere in Thamel at the night.

DAY 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur city, trek preparation an overnight at hotel

After breakfast you will be taken for a full day sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley and Bhaktapur city. You can visit the center of pilgrimage Pashupatinath Temple and Swyambhunath, very ancient and essentially enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage sites, also the biggest Buddhist Stupa at Boudhanath. Visit Bhaktapur, the city of pottery with Durbar Square full of Hindu temples and Buddhist monuments. On a journey back to the hotel, you can explore the local areas and lifestyle. We will discuss and check your preparation for trekking.

DAY 03: Drive to Pokhara (930m) - 7 hours -  overnight at hotel

Today we will take a tourist bus to Pokhara (about 6-7 hours’ drive) via scenic Prithvi Highway, enjoying shortstops for lunch and breakfast and scenic beauty all the way around. Upon arrival at Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel, where you can enjoy your spare time at lakeside. You can relax at Phewa Lake, surrounded by the Annapurna Himalaya Range.

DAY 04: Drive to Nayapul (New bridge) – 1 hour - trek to Tikhedhunga and overnight at teahouse

Your journey to Annapurna Ghorepani Poon Hill trek begins. A car drives for about 1 and half hour through large village Lumle brings you to Nayapul. The trek starts from here, dropping at first on a staircase and then traversing high above the river on a wide, stone-paved trail to a large and prosperous town Birethanti (1000m). Trekking trail follows winding bamboo forests and waterfalls with plunge pools inviting you for a refreshing swim. After lunch at village climb steadily up the side of the valley to reach Hille (1510m) and after a short walking, you will arrive at Tikhedhunga, where you will spend the overnight at guest house.

DAY 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani –  6 hours – and overnight at teahouse

The trail crosses Tikhedhunga river on a suspension bridge, then drops and crosses the Bhurungdi Khola on a large bridge at 1520m. The trail ascends on a stone staircase that is said to have more than 3300 steps. The continues to the large Magar village of Ulleri (2080m). From Ulleri the trail gently climbs through pastures and cultivated fields. You walk up beside cascading river through refreshingly cool oak and Rhododendron forest. The trail crosses two sparkling clear streams, a small ridge, and another stream before making short climb to Nangathanti (2460m). We have a little rest with lunch here at Nangathanti. In winter the trail can be covered with snow. The day destination Ghorepani (2750m) is reached after about an hour past Nangathanti

DAY 06: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani via Poon Hill – 6 hours – and overnight at teahouse

At the early morning we climb to Poon Hill (3210m), one of the best Himalaya viewpoints in Nepal, provides an unobstructed view of sunrise over the high Himalayas. The spectacular panorama stretches from Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiuchuli (6441m) and Tarke Kang (7193m). Gangapurna (7454m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and the Mt. Fishtail (Machhapuchhre 6997m) make your breath and eyes caught. Watching beautiful sunrise is a defining moment with lots of pleasure and tranquility.

After breakfast at Ghorepani, our trek to Tadapani starts. A short early morning climb to the Deurali pass for a spectacular panorama over Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. The trail descends steeply through the dense moss-covered forest with rich bird life to Tadapani which also provides a close-up sunset view.

DAY 07: Trek from Tadapani to Chommrong – 7 hours – and overnight at teahouse

After breakfast our trail starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests and terrace fields to Kimrong Khola, offering good views of the upper Modi valley. Then, after crossing suspension bridge, ascend to a Gurung village. You can donate some money for the school kids and school welfare if you feel so inclined. From here the trail goes on, gradually ascending through the forests with a huge landslide ridge - an easy walk to Chommrong (2140 m). Here we have some view of mighty peak of Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Gangapurna and Fishtail touch to skyline. Stay overnight at teahouse.

DAY 08: Trek from Chommrong to Himalaya – 6 hours – and overnight at teahouse

After descending to the suspension bridge over the Chommrong Khola you hike the undulating trail to the small hamlet of Dobhan via the villages of Sinuwa (2340m), Kuldihar and Bamboo. About half an hour past Dobhan a shrine, which is the sacred home of the deity Panchhi Baraha and next to it is a view of an impressive waterfall. Passing the Modi Khola the trail goes steeply up to Himalaya. We stay overnight at teahouse.

DAY 09: Trek from Himalaya to Machhapuchhre Base Camp – 5 hours – and overnight at teahouse

About an hour from the Himalayan rock stand that forms the Cave of Hinku, a camping site and a favorite landmark for mountain climbing expeditions, is a pleasant place to rest. About 30 minutes from the Hinku Cave is Deurali, and several streams before you enter the sanctuary where some of the teahouse are where we will stay overnight.

DAY 10: Trek from Machhapuchere Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp – 2 hours - then trek to Bamboo – 7 hours – and overnight at teahouse

We start trek to MBC at 04:30am. It was gradual climb up from 3900m to 4150m. It took us 2 hours more to reach Annapurna Base Camp. This morning we glimpse sunrise over Mt. Annapurna I, Annapurna range. The mountain scenery which is very spectacular. Enjoy Annapurna Base Camp surrounding and your feelings.

After breakfast at ABC we drop down to Bamboo (2345m), bringing boundless experiences. We retrace the journey back to Bamboo for the overnight stay. You can rest and relax in the evening with an unforgettable view of the many snowcapped peaks and enjoy dinner.

DAY 11: Trek from Bamboo to Jhinuwa Danda (Hot spring) – 5 hours- and overnight at teahouse

We follow the same route until Chommrong. Once we have passed Khuldighar there is an experimental sheep farm, we trekking continues through rhododendron and bamboo forests with majestic mountains scenery, especially Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,997m). From the ancient Gurung village Chommrong, the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu (1780m) hot springs, where you can bathe in natural hot springs only 20 minutes from our guest house. The rest of the day enjoy you and stay overnight.

DAY 12: Trek from Jhinuwa Danda trek to Ghandruk – 5 hours – and overnight at teahouse

In the morning after having breakfast, we will descend to small stream and climb up small stone staircase with zigzag uphill through terrace fields viewing Jhinu Danda and Chommrong village from top of the ridge, with its small settlement which takes about 2 and half hour. Then we walk small ups and downs through the dense forest of rhododendron viewing scenic Landruk and Ghandruk village until reaching Ghandruk (1940m), which is also known as Konda Village in local language. It takes about 1 and half hour. We will have our lunch and visit a very interesting old traditional Gurung Museum and recently built Buddhist Monastery in the middle of village, which we can make side trip for the evening. We will stay overnight at teahouse.

Day 13: Trek from Ghandruk to Tolka via Landruk - 4 hours - and stay overnight at teahouse

After breakfast, we will continue trekking with breath taking view of waterfalls, landscapes of Annapurna South, Himchuli, Fishtail and other mountains. And we will visit the Annapurna conservation office and museum in afternoon. We will continue to step down till Modi Khola and then climb up steeply about more than an hour and then we reach to Landruk (1565m). We leave Landruk with almost flat trails about an hour, then little step for 20 minutes to reach Tolka. We stay overnight here at teahouse.

Day 14: Trek from Tolka to Dhampus Village via Bichok Deurali -  5 hours -  and stay overnight at teahouse

After Tolka the trails follows through forest then starts again steep ascends about one and half hour to reach Deurali (2100m), from there where you can see valley of Pokhara. There are tea shops available between Tolka and Deurali. After Deurali trails leads you gradually descend to Dhampus (1650m) via Pothana. We enjoy the Dhampus Village and stay overnight here.

Day 15: Trek from Dhampus to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara (820m) - 3 hours – and stay overnight at hotel

This morning will be one of the great morning with views of Annapurna Himalayas & scenic settlement villages, walk down from Dhampus to Phedi which approximately one and half hours and then drive to Pokhara. You will transfer to the hotel and take a rest after beautiful long trekking.  You can enjoy the spa treatment at lake side or just sitting at balcony of your hotel with a cup of coffee.

Day 16: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu and overnight at hotel

You will take a drive to Kathmandu. In the evening you can have your last night in Nepal enjoying the Nepali cultural dinner show, taking some beautiful snaps and making up your mind about the returning journey. You can have greetings exchanging among friends and with all Nepalese people.

DAY 17: Final Departure

Today is free or last minute shopping for souvenirs or gift to your family, friends or relatives for you until departure flight/drive.
